The site of the old Baxter farm house at Kuri Bush was between the two large Macrocarpa trees. The tree on the left blew down in the storm of June 2000. The wild southern ocean lies across the road to the left of the image and the bank falls away behind the other side of the trees into a swampy gully. Godman frequently surfs near this location or drives past on the way to other surf spots.
