Which digital camera should I use?

Digital Scanning Backs

- the last category of digital cameras is the scanning back systems that are ordinarily used in conjunction with 4”x 5” format cameras. Scanning-back camera differs from instant-capture cameras primarily in exposure, duration and chip configuration. The area-array cameras use a matrix configuration to capture colour data, while linear-array camera scan one line of the image at a time. These cameras are mainly used for their ability to produce large file sizes, required in reproduce large prints for displays or posters.
