Alternative Photographic Processes - (Hand made photographic -emulsions and processes)

Textiles - Fabric:

Some emulsions like cyanotype, van dyke brown and liquid light, can be coated onto various fabrics. While you might need to do some experimenting - fine weave muslin, cotton and calico work well. It is wise to start with a clean and washed material. Generally the coating and processing is the same. If the processed material needs washed - this can be achieved through gentle hand washing.

Some synthetic materials don't allow the emulsion to adhere well.
